As the CEO of an innovative R&D-to-commercialization startup, I bring scientific research experience plus executive-level business acumen. Dr. Boxley relies heavily on his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry to help solve tough scientific challenges at GlycoSurf, while simultaneously leveraging his MBA in technology commercialization. He has an excellent track record for converting raw research to on-the-shelf products …plus… expertise in chemistry techniques, material science, organic synthesis, and other research areas. He brings all these skills to the fore in my current role with GlycoSurf. Prior to this he was the principal researcher at Ceramatec for almost 10 years managing an R&D team of scientists and engineers working on numerous ceramic-based technologies and applications. He obtained an MBA from Westminster College in Salt Lake City in 2006, a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Utah in 2003, and a BS in chemistry from the University of Arizona in 1997.
